Pack 580 Pinewood Derby Friday, April 26th, At Northlake Hills MPR
Join us Friday at 6PM for our Pinewood Derby. All cars should have been brought to the Godinez’ home for impound (4/20). If you have not dropped off your car yet, please contact us to set up a drop off and weigh in time.
ANY CAR NOT TURNED IN AHEAD OF TIME CANNOT BE RACED ON. BRINGING YOUR CAR ON THE DAY OF THE RACE WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED PER THE RULES GIVEN TO EVERYONE IN THEIR CAR KITS.
Our Pack 580 Pinewood Derby is one of the favorite meetings for many of our scouts. It is always such a fun night for the whole family! We have some great things planned for the event:
1) Please arrive at 6pm so scouts and siblings that made a car can pick up their car and record their car name and picture into the Pinewood Derby race program. Each racer gets to race 4 times, and the program will keep track of who is next to race, various times, and other scores.
2) Don't forget to pick up your Pit Pass for the race! The Pit Passes will be given out when you check in at entrance.
3) We will have a special Photo Booth that can be used all evening long! Bring your camera and take some great family photo's at our Pack 580 Pinewood Derby "Finish Line!"
4) We ask all racers to please listen to the Track Master all evening. He will be making announcements for which racers will be racing and which lane they will race from. Paying attention to the Track Master will make the night go smooth and more organized.

Pack 580 is located in Castaic, CA - bringing together boys and girls from Kindergarten through 5th grade. We hold monthly Pack meetings with all members of the pack, as well as Den meetings, where each group (Kindergarten - Lions, 1st Grade - Tigers, 2nd Grade - Wolves, 3rd Grade - Bears, 4th Grade - Webelos, and 5th Grade - Arrow of Light) get together for fun activities, developing friendships that will last a lifetime! Remember, Girls can join this fall!
