Beach Day 2015 at Carpinteria State Beach
Post date: Aug 9, 2015 5:12:20 PM
It was a beautiful, sunny day at Carpinteria State Beach on Saturday afternoon! The beach was crowded, but the scouts from Castaic Pack 580 had a blast, swimming, boogie boarding, building sand castles and even burying each other in the sand. The boys enjoyed eating lunch together, sharing cookies and hot cocoa and enjoying each other's company in a laid back, casual environment. It was a great way to end the summer, and get ready for another fun year of Cub Scouts in Pack 580!
Beach day is a tradition with Pack 580 for our end of summer activity. If anyone has any suggestions for future summer activities such as beach day, please let the pack committee know!
Pack 580 is located in Castaic, CA - bringing together boys from 1st grade through 5th grade. We hold monthly Pack meetings with all members of the pack, as well as Den meetings, where each group (1st Grade - Tigers, 2nd Grade - Wolves, 3rd Grade - Bears, 4th Grade - Weblos 1, and 5th Grade - Weblos 2) gets together for fun activities, developing friendships that will last a lifetime!
