Castaic Pack 580 Hike at Placerita Canyon Nature Center on 1/18

On Monday afternoon, January 18th, members of of our Pack joined together on the Martin Luther King Day holiday for a 4 mile hike at Placerita Canyon Nature Center. It was a great experience for both parents and scouts, with a few hours of exercise, learning about safety while hiking, socializing, and just getting to know each other better!

If you had never gone on one of our planned hikes, it is definitely recommended that you try to make it sometime. The scouts love to come together and they all have a great time! Coming together at events like this helps our scouts become even closer and expand their friendships beyond school and monthly meetings.

Pack 580 is located in Castaic, CA - bringing together boys from 1st grade through 5th grade. We hold monthly Pack meetings with all members of the pack, as well as Den meetings, where each group (1st Grade - Tigers, 2nd Grade - Wolves, 3rd Grade - Bears, 4th Grade - Weblos 1, and 5th Grade - Weblos 2) gets together for fun activities, developing friendships that will last a lifetime!
